The first step we take with any new project is to benchmark the existing process, and measure energy inputs and outputs on a site. We focus on thermal energy systems such as ovens, dryers, thermal oxidisers, steam and hot water systems. We use our wealth of experience gained over 90 years to understand the process in detail, which is vital to assessing where optimisation and savings can be made in your process.

Our Engineers Measure Real Data on Site for Accurate Results

At Process Energy we pride ourselves on taking real data for increase accuracy. Our team of engineers physically measure how systems consume and produce heat during operation. We do not rely on specifications or AI tools to benchmark a system.

Measurements can include emission testing from exhaust gases, to calculate the available waste energy for recovery.

We also take time during our initial energy consultation process to understand how a possible solution could fit in with the existing process. We try where possible to design our solutions ‘off-line’, so they do not interfere with the main manufacturing process. We take care to understand site layout, structural, mechanical and electrical details so we can provide a fully costed, accurate solution.
